Subway has a couple of new sandwiches, although they appear to be in the testing phase. The sign in our store calls it the “Smoked Gouda Collection.” Both sandwiches are made with a Gouda spread. One is a Gouda Roast Beef and the other is a Gouda Club. These sandwiches are not shown on the Subway website. We asked the “sandwich artist” that made our fewd if Wichita is a test market for the sandwiches. She was not aware that these were not on the website. A Fewd Snob loves sandwiches. I don’t care if I buy them out, if they are pre-made, or if I make them (which I hate doing because yes, I am THAT lazy!), but I love sandwiches. I’ve been looking forward to this one. This will be the first local place we review on Fewd Snobs, and I think it’s the perfect choice. For our first Booze review, we are testing the new Coors Light Citrus Radler. Although the Fewd Snobs typically don’t review fruity beers, we couldn’t pass up a chance to drink in the middle of the afternoon. And after all, it’s still Coors Light. Yes, you read right. We are reviewing a frozen pizza. Not only is it a frozen pizza, but it’s a $3 frozen pizza. And it is petty damn good. Nobody expects pizzeria quality pizza when cooking a frozen pizza. And yet, for something you can stick in the oven and have ready in about 20 minutes as opposed to calling for delivery, waiting for it while taking a nap, and then it’s cold when it arrives, frozen pizza is sometimes an essential.
