Yes, you read the title of this post correctly. KFC has a new new Colonel. You may recall that we recently reviewed Kentucky Fried Chicken’s FLG Sauce. We also discussed the new Colonel Sanders ads. Check it out here. Now, KFC is running a new set of ads with a DIFFERENT new Colonel! The original ads featured Darrell Hammond from Saturday Night Live. We came across these chips while picking up some stuff at the grocery store. We are big fans of gyros, so when we saw a gyros flavored chip, we knew what needed to be done. Fewd Bite: McDonald’s Sirloin Third Pound Burgers

McDonald’s has added three new burgers to the menu. The new items are called Sirloin Third Pound Burgers. The new burgers are the Steakhouse, Lettuce and Tomato, and Bacon and Cheese. These burgers have definitely peaked our interest. The combinations are certainly different – we found some of them to be interesting to say the least. For example, the Bacon and Cheese burger has ketchup and mustard, but no lettuce. The Lettuce and Tomato obviously has lettuce and tomato (imagine that!), but is topped with mustard and mayonnaise. For our first Fewd Bite, we have Tabasco. Tabasco now has many different flavors available. We are focusing on the original Tabasco Pepper Sauce and Green Pepper Sauce. I think we can agree, both are awesome, but very different. If you are looking to add a little zip to your fewd, this stuff is perfect! The original has that spicy, acidic flavor along with a decent amount of heat. The more mild, green Tabasco has a unique pepper flavor. Both go great on anything from pizza to eggs.
