Subway is at it again. It is trying to make sandwiches that don’t suck. How enthralling. Recall our earlier review on Subway’s Rotisserie-Style Chicken Sandwich. Subway seems to be trying to jump on the “healthy” (read trendy) craze by introducing antibiotic-free slop. And no artificial preservatives (in the case of this turkey). Swell. Because rotted turkey that has been sitting at Subway too long tastes better, evidently. Now, Subway has introduced “carved” turkey. This must be some kind of piss poor attempt at competing with the trendy places like Panera Bread. Oh my. To us, this is basically acknowledging that…

From the Land of Stupid, we give you Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A has lost its shit, apparently. Back in January, Chick-fil-A got rid of cole slaw from the menu. This pissed a lot of people off. Not everybody likes Chick-fil-A’s awful fries. So, the cole slaw was a perfect replacement. Well, not anymore! It is bad enough that the joint is eliminating a popular menu item. What’s even worse is the bullshit reasoning behind it. According to Business Insider, the company said, “We know many of our customers loved our cole slaw, yet we have also heard from our customers that they…

Kansas Craft Beer Week is here! Yes, an entire week devoted to beer. Sounds pretty good to us. Before we go any further, we know what you are thinking. “You guys hate craft beer! It’s for true snobs!” You are right in your thinking. We generally don’t like craft beer. Except, it isn’t really that we dislike craft beer itself. We hate what it stands for. Craft beer is used as a status symbol for millennials. You know the type. We have gotten into this before, so for the sake of this article, that’s as far as we are going…

Wendy’s. Oh, Wendy’s. You used to be so good. Then, you screwed it all up. But for whatever reason, we still get an occasional Wendy’s craving. The burgers and fries have been messed up to the point of no return. And eating a meal will require a second mortgage on your house. But one thing is still reliable; the Spicy Chicken Sandwich still rocks. Wendy’s brought back its Jalapeno Fresco Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It has been on the menu in the past, and is back for a limited time only. We were pretty new when this sandwich was out last…

As if the craft beer craze isn’t enough, look what we have here. Craft soda. Yay. Craft sodas have been around for a long time, but they are usually found at specialty shops. Now, Pepsi is bringing craft sodas to the mainstream. Oh my! Yes, Pepsi has introduced its 1893 line of craft sodas. Original Cola and Ginger Cola are both available. You know by now how we feel about pretentious stuff. We don’t like it. That’s why we are called FEWD Snobs. The word “snobs” is ironic, get it?? Sure you do! That said, it is our job to…

For all of our reviews, we haven’t done much candy. We don’t know why. Candy is perfect for Fewd Snobs. It is loaded with sugar, unhealthy, and tastes good drunk. So, when we discovered the new Honey Nut, Coffee Nut, and Chili Nut M&M’s, we realized we had a perfect opportunity to review candy. Nice. Yes, three new flavors of M&M’s have been introduced. But there is more to it than that. M&M’s is tying the new flavors into a contest of sorts. The idea is to try all three flavors, and then vote for the one you like best…

Bud Light has a new logo. Yay. We aren’t going to get in to the entire background on this. Google it if you must. There is a ton out there, some of it from Budweiser, regarding the change. In fact, this ties in to the recent change in the regular Budweiser logo. Bud Heavy went back to a more classic look, and now Bud Light is doing the same. The redesign features the words “Bud Light” in a bolder font, similar to the font that used to be on the cans and bottles years ago. In addition, the Budweiser crest…
