Fewd Bite: Lay’s Greektown Gyro Chips

We came across these chips while picking up some stuff at the grocery store.  We are big fans of gyros, so when we saw a gyros flavored chip, we knew what needed to be done.  The trouble is, we don’t know where to put this review.  Is it limited time only?  Not sure, because we don’t know which chip will win the contest.  So, we’ll just call it a Fewd Bite. These chips were born from the Frito Lay contest for a new chip flavor.  The contest is titled, “Do Us A Flavor.”  There are four finalists. Check out all…

The Fewd Snobs decided to check out new stuff in the frozen food aisle today, and we came across the new line of Brick Oven pizzas from Red Baron. Red Baron has long been a Fewd Snob favorite.  In fact, we used to eat the regular ones all the time.  So, we thought it would be pretty cool to try the new line of pizzas from one of our favorite companies. Denny’s Full Disclosure:  I think that brick oven pizzas are the most fru fru way to make a pizza.  It isn’t supposed to be cooked in a damn brick…

Review: YETI Colster Koozie

Before we get started, we need to take a second to welcome Herman back.  He crawled his way out of the alley he had been hiding in, and has returned. As he came out of his stupor, he brought back with him the single greatest invention since the beer fridge.  The YETI Colster koozie. Herman was traversing the backwoods of Texas, and he learned of this mystical device.  It came to him in a vision.  The trees parted, the wind blew up, and a light appeared.  OK, he imagined that part (beer is a bitch, people!)  In any case, he…

Article: Pizza Hut Makes It Right

Good customer service is a thing of the past, as a general rule.  It seems that when dealing with just about anybody in the service industries, giving good service is a lost art.  That said, I had an experience last week that was well worth sharing with you. About a week ago, I ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut for dinner.  My order was not monumental.  I ordered a large pan crust pizza with half Italian sausage and half pepperoni.  I also ordered extra cheese. I went to pick it up.  Mind you, I have been going to this Pizza…

Review: Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill Fried Bologna Sandwich

I was in Bricktown in Oklahoma City over the 4th of July weekend.  It was a nice, relaxing trip.  For those of you not familiar, get familiar.  Go there.  It is a great place to visit and hang out.  Read about it here. I will say that I went there with the intention of not reviewing anything.  I just wanted to “chillax.”  I didn’t want to review anything.  I didn’t want to work. So we come across Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill.  Although my intention wasn’t to review anything, I took a picture of what I had…
