Review: Pringles Food Truck Flavors (Limited Time Only)

Herman was stumbling through Walgreens the other day, and he saw two new flavors of Pringles.  Naturally, he picked them up.  Perfect for Fewd Snobs, we were ready to dig right in. But first we wanted to see what these were all about.  Herman saw two flavors, and got both.  The flavors are “Cheeseburger” and “Kickin’ Chicken Taco.” We checked out Pringles’ website, and interestingly enough, only the Cheeseburger flavor is listed on the site.  Perhaps they have given up on the “Kickin’ Chicken Taco” already?  We don’t know.  Can’t get an answer.  Poking around the internet, we see that…

Review: MaMa Rosa’s Mini Deep Dish Pizzas

By now, it is no secret that the Fewd Snobs are huge pizza fans.  We love ALL kinds of pizza, and review different kinds for you.  Yes, it is a burden for us to have to eat so many different kinds of pizza to give you, our beloved readers, accurate findings on them.  Despite it being such a burden, we have a duty to you.  So we will press on… MaMa Rosa’s pizza is different than other brands.  According to the website, MaMa Rosa’s pizzas are, …”the country’s No.1 selling refrigerated pizza brand.”  Refrigerated pizza.  NOT frozen. MaMa Rosa’s has…

Review: McDonald’s Sirloin Third Pound Burgers (Limited Time Only)

McDonald’s has been making many changes lately.  The menu has been stripped down, and yet new items have been added.  The moves are strategic, and are an attempt to fix the struggling chain.  McDonald’s has been facing problems for years.  Enter the new Sirloin Third Pound Burgers. When we first saw the new burgers, we knew this was a review that was a must for Fewd Snobs.  McDonald’s is the “go to” place, especially when we can’t decide on anything else.  So trying new burgers sounded good to us. McDonald’s has tried many times before to introduce new burgers to…

Fewd Bite: McDonald’s Sirloin Third Pound Burgers

McDonald’s has added three new burgers to the menu. The new items are called Sirloin Third Pound Burgers. The new burgers are the Steakhouse, Lettuce and Tomato, and Bacon and Cheese. These burgers have definitely peaked our interest.  The combinations are certainly different – we found some of them to be interesting to say the least.  For example, the Bacon and Cheese burger has ketchup and mustard, but no lettuce.  The Lettuce and Tomato obviously has lettuce and tomato (imagine that!), but is topped with mustard and mayonnaise.  No ketchup here, kids.  And we haven’t tried sauteed mushrooms and grilled…

Review: Heritage Farm Smoked Sausage

Here we have fewd in the simplest of forms:  meat that is chopped and emulsified, squeezed into a tube shape, and smoked. Simple? Yes. Tasty? Absolutely. Cheap? You better believe it.  If you aren’t familiar with Kroger’s new in-house brand Heritage Farms, you should check it out, or at the very least check out the smoked sausage.  These things are killer, and they will only set you back less than four bucks for 14 jumbo sized links.  They can be found at any Kroger brand store.  Wichita happens to be loaded with Dillons (our local Kroger chain).  So they are…

Fewd Fight! Coors Light Vs. Miller Lite

In the modern era we unfortunately live in, it seems that traditional American “get drunk” beers have fallen out of favor.  Even though they still sell tons of barrels, it seems that Millennials prefer drinking fruity and “aromatic” beers instead of good old fashioned American brews.  There is some debate if Herman and Denny fall into the Millennial category, but they probably wouldn’t claim it if they did.  The Fewd Snobs have nothing against home brews.  In fact, they agree that some are pretty good.  But by definition, the Fewd Snobs will never, EVER turn their noses up to a…
