BEHOLD! The epitome of the Fewd Snob. The ultimate necessity. The crown jewel. The Beer Fridge. And not just any beer fridge. This baby holds a whopping 120 (12 oz.) cans when packed full. We are very proud to own such a masterful device. This particular model is an 18″ stainless trimmed, clear glass door “beverage cooler” made by Danby. It actually resides at Herman’s house, but Denny has purchased real estate on the second shelf. As you can see, we keep a specific layout for the contents of the beer fridge. This is due to the different sizes of Miller and Coors…

We saw an ad in the weekly coupon mailer for the new Big Flavor Dipper Pizza at Pizza Hut. Naturally, we had to try it right away. Pizza is what a Fewd Snob is all about, after all. Pizza Hut is offering a deal where you can get a 1 topping Dipper Pizza with a free Pepsi products 2-liter if you order online for $12.99. Pizza Hut advertises that the pizza is almost 2 feet. It is cut into 24 strips. All of this sounded good to us, so off to pizzahut.com we went. We ordered ours with half pepperoni…

So we are sitting here, trying to decide what to write about. Absolutely nothing that we can eat and review sounds good to either of the Fewd Snobs. We have been writing on little to no sleep, and have been drinking coffee for hours. Nothing sounds good, and our stomachs are pissed off anyway. So what pops into our heads?? Stomach pills!! We have wanted to review these for a while, and this is the perfect time. Any Fewd Snob knows that there are times when the stomach is just pissed off. It could be because you ate too much…

For our first Fewd Bite, we have Tabasco. Tabasco now has many different flavors available. We are focusing on the original Tabasco Pepper Sauce and Green Pepper Sauce. I think we can agree, both are awesome, but very different. If you are looking to add a little zip to your fewd, this stuff is perfect! The original has that spicy, acidic flavor along with a decent amount of heat. The more mild, green Tabasco has a unique pepper flavor. Both go great on anything from pizza to eggs. Hell, we bet if you put it on cardboard it would taste…

Arby’s introduced its version of gyros about a year ago. It is now back in some locations as a temporary item. A little history on the gyro…although there is some debate, it is widely accepted that gyros sandwiches are Greek in origin. They are popular in the U.S., especially in cities with a large Greek population. For example, gyros can be had in almost every local hot dog place in the Chicagoland area. For those of you that are not familiar, the sandwich typically consists of a lamb and beef mix of meat that is cooked on a rotating spit. …

In case you haven’t read the ‘About Us’ page yet, Fewd Fight! is a feature where the Fewd Snobs completely disagree on something. For our first Fewd Fight!, we have chosen the trendy sauce, Sriracha. We are talking about the Huy Fong Foods version, which is the most popular. We COMPLETELY disagree on this one… Herman’s Thoughts: I LOVE Sriracha! I have been on a binge lately with the stuff (two huge bottles in about 3 months). I have been putting it on everything. I also find that it is an awesome ingredient to cook with or just add to…

Subway has a couple of new sandwiches, although they appear to be in the testing phase. The sign in our store calls it the “Smoked Gouda Collection.” Both sandwiches are made with a Gouda spread. One is a Gouda Roast Beef and the other is a Gouda Club. These sandwiches are not shown on the Subway website. We asked the “sandwich artist” that made our fewd if Wichita is a test market for the sandwiches. She was not aware that these were not on the website. At the time of this writing, we have an email out to Subway to…
